With a combined 55+ years of experience in the car wash industry, Braulio Alvarez and Brian Guiniling bring a highly complementary partnership focused on operational excellence, strategic growth, and innovative customer experiences. Together, they have successfully developed, scaled, and operated high-performing car wash businesses across California and beyond.

Operational Leadership & Multi-Site Management

​

Braulio Alvarez leads operations with over three decades of hands-on industry experience. Beginning his career in 1990, he advanced from entry-level roles to senior leadership, developing deep expertise in team development, quality control, and multi-site management.

As an Area Manager at Cruz Thru Express Car Wash, Mr. Alvarez oversaw multiple locations across a 150-mile territory, managing personnel, training programs, and maintenance operations. He played a key role in scaling the company from one location to ten, ensuring consistent operational standards and strong leadership at each site.

Following the company’s acquisition by Mister Car Wash, he oversaw regional operations in California, managing more than 160 employees and supporting continued growth and performance.

 

Construction, Development & Innovation

Brian Guiniling brings 25+ years of experience in construction management, budgeting, and brand development. At Cruz Thru Express Car Wash, he led the design and construction of nine locations, managing projects from concept through completion while helping define the company’s brand identity.

He has driven innovation within the car wash space through the development of proprietary systems, including license plate recognition and RFID technology for streamlined member processing, as well as unique customer experiences such as immersive wash features and digital engagement tools.

As Construction Manager for Mister Car Wash, Mr. Guiniling led ground-up builds and large-scale remodels across multiple states, working closely with architects, contractors, and municipal agencies to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

 

Proven Growth & Ownership Experience

In 2019, Alvarez and Guiniling partnered to acquire Splash Auto Spa in Ridgecrest, California, successfully converting the site from a full-service model into a modern flex-serve operation now known as Blue Rocket Express Car Wash.

 

In 2020, they expanded their portfolio with the acquisition of Sail Thru Car Wash. Together, they continue to oversee all aspects of operations, development, and strategic growth, combining disciplined execution with creative brand positioning to drive customer engagement and long-term success.

 

Construction & Project Management Expertise

In addition to his car wash experience, Mr. Guiniling served as a Construction Project Manager for Klassen Corporation, managing a project portfolio valued at approximately $100 million. His experience spans public, medical, hospitality, and community projects, further strengthening the team’s ability to execute complex developments efficiently and cost-effectively.
